Corns and Calluses

Corns and calluses form in response to repeated friction or pressure. While the body creates them as protection, they can become painful, particularly over bony prominences or between the toes.

Treatment and Prevention

We carefully debride corns and calluses in the office and, critically, identify the underlying cause: footwear problems, structural abnormalities, or gait issues driving the friction. Treating the symptom without addressing the cause leads to recurrence.
