About the Pain Center

The Complex Lower Extremity Pain Center is a specialized division of Ankle & Foot Center of Central Florida, dedicated to patients who are living with chronic pain below the knee and have not found adequate relief through conventional care.

Many of our pain center patients have already seen multiple physicians. They've been told there's nothing more to offer, or that their pain can only be managed, not resolved. We frequently disagree with that conclusion.

What We Evaluate

• Peripheral nerve compression syndromes
• Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)
• Failed surgery syndrome, persistent or new pain after prior procedures
• Chronic tendon and soft tissue pain
• Nerve damage from diabetes, trauma, or prior surgery
• Undiagnosed causes of lower extremity pain

Our Evaluation Process

The Pain Center workup includes comprehensive nerve testing, vascular assessment, advanced imaging review, and a detailed history review. We look for the treatable cause that prior evaluations may have missed.
